1. Order Processing & Handling Times

Unlike mass-produced items, many of our brass products undergo a thorough quality check, hand-polishing, and multi-layer protective wrapping before dispatch.

  • Standard Core Collection: Orders for in-stock items are typically processed, packed, and ready for shipment within 2 to 3 business days.
  • Custom or Made-to-Order Commissions: If your piece involves personalized engraving, structural customizations, or bespoke adjustments, processing times vary. Please refer to the specific timeframe stated on the individual product page, or contact us directly.
  • Peak Seasons: During holidays or major collection launches, handling times may extend slightly. We appreciate your patience as we maintain strict craftsmanship standards.

Note: Processing windows do not include weekends, national holidays, or the transit time required by third-party shipping carriers.

This notice includes a secure tracking number and a direct link to monitor your shipment’s movement in real-time. Please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier’s system to update the initial tracking status.

  • Address Accuracy: We ship strictly to the shipping address provided at checkout. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure all address fields including apartment numbers, suite codes, and postal designators are 100% accurate. Brasstales cannot offer refunds or replacements for items sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

4. International Shipments & Customs Duties

Brasstales proudly shares its artisan metalwork with enthusiasts worldwide. However, please be advised that international orders may be subject to local import taxes, customs duties, tariffs, and handling fees levied by the destination country.

  • Buyer Responsibility: All customs duties, taxes, and related regulatory clearings are the sole financial responsibility of the buyer. Brasstales does not calculate, collect, or pre-pay these fees at checkout.
  • Customs Enforcement: Customs departments reserve the right to inspect packages, which may cause unpredictable delivery delays. We cannot control or predict these timeline variations.
  • Refused Shipments: If a package is refused by the international recipient due to unpaid customs duties, the buyer remains responsible for original shipping costs, return shipping fees, and any processing surcharges incurred.

5. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Shipments

Solid brass is incredibly resilient, but the boxes holding them can experience heavy friction during long transits. We insure our high-value shipments to safeguard your purchase.

  • Items Damaged in Transit: If your piece arrives structurally compromised, you must contact us at info@oceanagemart.com within 24 of delivery. Please include clear photos of the damaged item as well as the outer packaging box. We will immediately coordinate a replacement or resolution.
  • Stolen or Missing Packages: If your tracking code confirms delivery but you cannot locate the package, check with household members, neighbors, and your local carrier annex. Brasstales is not liable for package theft occurring post-delivery.

6. Delivery Restrictions

Due to carrier weight and size constraints for heavy metalware, we are currently unable to ship certain oversized items to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. If an item cannot be delivered to a listed location, our customer support team will reach out to organize an alternative address before processing payment.
